The Kelowna Museum collects, conserves, displays and interprets aspects of the social and natural histories of the Central Okanagan set in their wider context of the world. Permanent galleries include decorative fine art and craft, and ethnographic and natural history exhibits. Founded in 1976, the gallery serves the central Okanagan Valley with a variety of exhibitions and education programs for all ages. The new 15,000 square foot facility, opened in 1996, offers three gallery spaces. The Treadgold/ Bullock Gallery, The Reynolds Gallery and the Rotary Courtyard. Admission: members free, individual $4, senior $3, student $3, family $8, children under 12 free, Thur 3 pm - 9 pm by donation. Tues to Sat 10 am - 5 pm Thur till 9 pm, Sun 1 pm - 4 pm. Grand Gallery The Grand Gallery has a large collection of oil paintings, watercolours, pottery, glass and other works from regional artists.
