    Gibson Heritage House
    Visit Gibson Heritage House in Kopje Regional Park and discover what life was like on an orchard homestead in the early 1900's. The house was built in 1912 and contains artifacts and local historical information from the 1910 - 1930 era. The house is located in a park on Okanagan Lake so bring a picnic and a swimsuit for swimming too! Open Friday - Sunday from noon to 4 pm in June, July and August.

    Father Pandosy's Mission
    Founded on the site of the first mission in the Okanagan area. Restored remains of the mission, founded in 1859, can still be seen, as can the first apple orchard in the Okanagan, planted by Father Pandosy himself.

    Guisachan Heritage Park
    Stroll through Edwardian gardens, view 19th century artifacts, shop for gifts or enjoy fine dining (Guisichan House Restaurant reservations, 862-9368) at this historical site. Guisichan House was built in the Indian colonial bungalow style in 1891 for the Countess and Earl of Aberdeen, Governor-General of Canada from 1893 to 1896. Park open daily, 7 a.m.-11 p.m.; restaurant open Mon.-Wed., 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Thu.-Sun. until 11 p.m.

    Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan (EECO Centre)
    Visit the EECO Centre in the scenic setting of Mission Creek Regional Park. The Centre offers enviornmental exhibits and programs, children's activities and books, park and trail information and an environmental library. Open April - October 9 am to 5 pm daily November - March weekdays 10 am to 3 pm and weekends 10 am to 4 pm
