Kelowna Vacation Guide
Welcome to Kelowna!
Few cities in the Thompson-Okanagan can compare to Kelowna. With its feast of recreational activities and a full palate of cultural offerings, Kelowna is the destination with the largest buffet of choices. As a result of its location along the eastern edge of Okanagan Lake, in south central British Columbia, the city has numerous great beaches and endless water recreation. Courses such as Gallagher's Canyon and Kelowna Springs Golf Course will entice golfers to grab that five iron and explore these or one of the city's dozen golf courses, some of which are among the upper crust in the country. Whether houseboating down Lake Okanagan, touring wineries like Calona, Quails' Gate and Summerhill, visiting galleries and museums such as Kelowna Art Gallery and the B.C. Orchard Industry Museum, checking out restaurants & bars or exploring a landscape covered in orchards as far as the eye can see, visitors to Kelowna will have their cake and eat it too.
